ABOUT ME

Not a Native:

I'm originally from St. Louis, MO and moved to California in Aug. 2008. I am married and have 2 daughters.

Education:

BFA in Theatre Design from Carnegie Mellon University

Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University

Teaching:

I have been teaching since Oct. 2011 and, currently, teach both Beginning and Intermediate Ceramics.

Hobbies/Interests:

I really enjoy puzzles, such as jigsaw puzzles and crosswords, and reading mysteries. Also, I have quite a sweet tooth; my favorite dessert is a "Chipwich."

Advice to Arroyo Students:

Don't sweat the small stuff, but take your education seriously. Go to CREAM eatery, and don't spend $400 on your prom dress.

Favorite Arroyo Memories:

Dancing with Ms. Preston during class (Some student probably has a video of that on their phone).

Smushing into a photo booth with a group of teachers at prom.
