AHS Instrumental Music

2018 for the Marching Dons was a year full of hardships which prevented the band from fully being competitive during the season, including their last two shows being cancelled due to the Butte County Camp Fire which smoked out the whole bay area.

But due to the generosity of Sunnyvale’s Fremont High School Band Director, Joe Kelly, the Arroyo Marching Dons had a solid performance to close out this year. Together with the Fremont High School Firebird Band and the Sobrato High School Bulldog Marching Band from Morgan Hill, Arroyo High School performed to a packed gym.

As a side note, Mr. Kelly and Mr. Greg Chambers were both Mr. Miyata’s former students.
