Hiring Process for Coaches at Arroyo
1) Candidate completes the EDjoin application: https://www.edjoin.org/Home/Dishttps://www.edjoin.org/Home/DistrictJobPosting/1343956
this is when they must have all CIF required certifications completed
- Fundamentals of Coaching
- Concussion in Sports
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- CPR/First Aid with AED
- ***Heat Illness Prevention*** (new)

2) Candidate must then complete Arroyo Coach Registration: https://www.familyid.com/programs/arroyo-coach-registration
3) Candidate interviews with Athletic Director and/or Site Administrator
4) Administrator makes formal recommendation to hire
5) Candidate receives hiring packet from HR, gets formally vetted and hired by HR, notice is provided to site to inform candidate they have been hired.
No one can coach or participate in any capacity until all of these steps have been completed and official notification has been given.
