Due:
I know not all of you were on the Zoom call on Wednesday, but if you were, I'm hoping you'll be willing to write Anita a thank you letter. I think every time someone opens up and shares their story with the world, it is a gift that should be cherished. I know I will remember her story for the rest of my life and am so grateful she shared it with us (for free, by the way!). While this assignment isn't graded, I'm hoping many of you will still write her a thank you letter. I will send them to her next week on Wednesday.
Due:
This is your last assignment of the year! Please do your Acts of Resistance project over the weekend, Monday, and Tuesday. Then, complete the "Week 3: Acts of Resistance Project Reflection" (due Wednesday). Also, please take your time answering the questions on the "Final Exit Ticket 2020." I really value your feedback and appreciate your honesty!
Due:
Would you be interested in hearing another Survivor Speaker? Penny from JFCS offered to set up another Zoom. It would be a female this time, so we would get to hear a new perspective and experience!
Due:
1. Watch the Video
2. View the Weekly Slides
3. Read the Acts of Resistance Project Overview
4. View Ms. Vaughn's 2020 Act of Resistance Project Pitch as an example

Don't forget to do the other assignment I posted today that is due on Wednesday! It is to prepare you for our Zoom call at 11 on Thursday with Leslie from JFCS.

Please complete this short analysis by WEDNESDAY, 5/13. This is to help you prepare for the Zoom call we will have with Jewish Family and Children Services on Thursday, 5/14 at 11am. ALL of my classes are invited to this call and we will not have any class meetings next week.
Due:
Hi Everyone, I hope you're all feeling healthy and staying safe. Below is your assignment for the next three weeks while we're out of school. Read the directions at the top and then complete the assignment for each day on the Google Doc. Press "Turn In" when you finish (due 4/4).
I have also included the rubric detailing how I will grade each response.
If you have any questions at all, please text me through Remind! I miss you all already and hope you're all doing okay. Let me know if you need anything.
~Ms. Vaughn
